ISC Constructors is hiring Electrical Apprentices and experienced Electrical Helpers for a long-term advanced manufacturing construction project in Lebanon, Indiana.

You don't need to be a Journeyman yet. We're looking for dependable people who have hands-on experience, understand the demands of construction, and are ready to learn and grow.

Pay

Electrical Apprentice / Helper: $24.00-$28.00/hour

What You'll Do

As an Electrical Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced electricians while developing the hands-on skills needed to advance your electrical construction career.

Conduit Installation

• Assist Journeymen and Craftsmen with installation of rigid, aluminum, Plasti-Bond, and PVC conduit
• Use or learn to use mechanical, electric, and hydraulic conduit benders
• Assist with conduit layout and installation
• Fabricate and install conduit supports

Cable Tray, Wire & Cable

• Assist with installation of cable tray and tube tray
• Install wire and cable in conduit and cable tray
• Assist with manual and mechanical wire pulls
• Support installation of electrical equipment and related systems

Electrical & Instrumentation Support

• Assist experienced craft professionals with electrical and instrumentation construction
• Assist with installation of instrument tubing and air piping
• Use electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, and standard hand tools
• Assist with material handling and installation activities

Jobsite Responsibilities

• Follow applicable safety rules and project requirements
• Follow direction from Journeymen, Foremen, and project supervision
• Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas
• Assist with demolition, material handling, cleanup, and other construction activities
• Complete assigned work safely, accurately, and efficiently

Previous industrial or advanced manufacturing experience is a plus, but isn't required.

Requirements

Strong candidates should have:

• Previous electrical or construction experience
• Basic knowledge of electrical construction and applicable safety practices
• Ability and willingness to learn electrical construction skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a crew
• Commitment to safety, quality, attendance, and workmanship
• Ability to pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to pass applicable background checks
