Bedford, TX | Onsite

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

• $25.00–$30.00 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Full-time, W2

ROLE IMPACT

The Auto Appraiser evaluates vehicle damage and determines accurate repair or replacement costs to support timely claims processing and customer satisfaction. Success in this role means producing precise, defensible estimates, communicating effectively with repair facilities and customers, and following company and industry standards.

KEY DUTIES

• Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine appropriate repair or replacement costs.

• Prepare detailed and accurate vehicle damage estimates using approved estimating software.

• Review repair facility estimates and negotiate adjustments when necessary.

• Document vehicle damage and appraisal findings with photos, notes, and supporting information.

• Communicate claim status, estimate details, and next steps with customers, repair facilities, and internal teams.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years of auto appraiser experience.

• Strong knowledge of automotive repair methods, parts, and estimating guidelines.

• Proficiency with auto estimating software and basic computer applications.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• I-CAR or ASE certification.

• Experience handling insurance-related auto claims.

• Strong negotiation and customer service skills.
