About the Opportunity

GSG is seeking an Applied AI / Context Solutions Engineer to support an Agentic Workforce initiative focused on developing practical, reusable, and compliant AI-enabled solutions. This role will take rapidly developed AI-assisted and vibe-coded prototypes and help turn them into production-ready, reusable applications and technical building blocks that can be shared across the organization.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical builder who is comfortable working in ambiguity and has experience with modern development practices, AI-assisted development, data structures, semantic search, embeddings, and component-based architecture. The consultant will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to develop lightweight, portable technical patterns while reducing technical debt and dependency on external connectors.

Responsibilities:

• Take AI-assisted, vibe-coded, and rapidly developed prototypes and turn them into production-ready applications, agents, and technical components.
• Design and develop organized databases, data structures, and lightweight technical patterns that support AI-enabled solutions.
• Work with semantic search, embeddings, and related AI/context technologies.
• Develop reusable, component-based solutions that can be shared and expanded across the organization.
• Explore technical approaches that reduce dependency on external connectors and create more portable solutions.
• Identify and manage technical debt created through AI-assisted development.
• Build and refine reusable technical components, patterns, and standards that can be applied across different business use cases.
• Work within existing design systems and organizational technology standards where applicable.
• Package technical outputs against known security, compliance, and governance standards and help identify opportunities for pre-approved patterns.
• Document the technical architecture, components, patterns, and implementation approaches.
• Partner with business, technology, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure solutions are practical and scalable.
• Support the development of a repeatable methodology for building and working with AI.
• Work effectively in an ambiguous and evolving environment, helping determine the appropriate technical approach as the initiative develops.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application development, AI engineering, solutions engineering, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and modern software development practices.
• Experience taking prototypes or proof-of-concepts into production-ready applications or solutions.
• Experience with database and data structure design.
• Experience with semantic search, embeddings, vector search, or related AI technologies.
• Strong understanding of component-based development and reusable technical architecture.
• Experience working with APIs, integrations, or external connectors.
• Ability to identify and address technical debt, particularly in rapidly developed or AI-assisted applications.
• Experience documenting technical solutions, architecture, and reusable patterns.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building AI agents, agentic applications, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Experience with vibe coding, Replit, or other AI-assisted development platforms.
• Experience with React or modern front-end development stacks.
• Experience working with design systems and reusable UI components.
• Experience in financial services or another highly regulated industry.
• Familiarity with enterprise security, compliance, privacy, and governance requirements.
• Experience developing technical patterns intended to be shared and scaled across an organization.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology teams.
