Description

Summary:

  • Location: St. Louis, MO
  • Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal or external partners to collaborate on product testing and release, driving for results.
  • Responsible for client product test and release work over a variety of networks.
  • Manage End-to-End qualification from company Data Center distribution to Desktop.
  • Maintain a high level of technical and product expertise through training classes, self-study, and performing product release functions.
  • Prevent technical deployment issues from occurring at customer site production environments by establishing conformity against customer site deployment requirements.
  • Review documentation supplied by development for inclusion into global product manuals. Provide installation details and/or create installation manuals as required.
  • Contribute to authoring Technical Operations Notice (TON) and Note for the Record (NFR) to inform internal stakeholders of approved deployment of company products.
  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date lab infrastructure that emulates clients’ environments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in quality assurance manual or automation.
  • Knowledge of operating systems: Windows server, Linux, Red Hat, and Cent OS.
  • Understanding of local area and wide area networking technologies and protocols including Ethernet, Routers, Bridges, Ethernet Switches, Firewalls, TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, and multicast.
  • Proficiency in shell programming and UNIX tools and utilities (e.g., vi, vim, sed, awk, grep, Perl).
  • Knowledge of Python coding skills.
  • Experience with unit test tools, user interface test tools, and test management tools such as TestRail.
  • Knowledge of other programming languages (Java, SQL).
  • Good English communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
