    Description

    Position Summary:

    Develops, installs, maintains, and modifies applications and web-based projects/solutions. Ensures quality and reliable information and stable applications to sustain the Information Technology needs of the organization. Supports the mission of the organization by participating in quality assurance programs, department orientations, and trainings.

    Critical Tasks:

    • Plans, tests, and implements software installations and upgrades to ensure applications meet user needs.
    • Provides technical support and assistance with formatting presentations and reports.
    • Collaborates with a variety of departments to create and convert documents.
    • Leads conversion projects while meetings with stakeholders to determine project objectives, deliverables, outcomes, and deadlines.
    • Ensures users understand the functionality of new software by conducting trainings.
    • Solves complex technical problems related to computer equipment limitations to support business and clinical operations.
    • Maintain an understanding of health and business information software and hardware advancements to provide users with updated applications.
    • Conducts routine software status checks to ensure current software is adequate.
    • Prepares and presents reports related to operational results.
    • Identifies and resolves application problems to provide for continuous business and clinical operations

    Required Qualifications:

    • Associate's Degree in Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, or closely related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 3 years of experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.
    • Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
