| Job Description | The selected candidates will be expected to perform the following tasks: 1. Provide full stack .NET application development and support, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and Support program applications. 2. Support modernization and migration of legacy application to current .NET and FWC standards. 3. Design, develop and maintain ASP.NET Core RESTful Web APIs and application integrations, including business logic, validation, error handling, and secure data access. 4. Develop and maintain responsive accessible user interface using Blazor WebAssembly, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript interoperability in accordance with FWC accessibility standards. 5. Development experience with the Blazor Component libraries. 6. Writing and organizing modular JavaScript (ES modules) intended to be called from the .NET for Map services. 7. Provide GIS application development and integration using ArcGIS technologies and mapping services. 8. Experience in Building interactive web maps with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript is strongly preferred. 9. Knowledge of Layer Management in ESRI: base maps, feature layers and dynamic layer updates. 10. User-driven geometry captures like drawing, editing and validating points, lines, polygons. 11. Working with geospatial data formats including generation exports that can be used by desktop tools. 12. Role-based authorization enforced consistently on both the API level and the UI level. 13. Proficiency in Entity Framework, Dapper, and ADO.NET against SQL Server, with the judgment to select the appropriate approach per operation. 14. Provide Microsoft SQL database application support inclusive of data design/modeling, coding, implementing, maintaining, and supporting FWC applications. 15. Provide SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and views and performance optimization for existing complex queries. 16. Experience with SQL Server spatial data types. 17. Provide configuration management (using DevOps/GitHub) for software application objects. 18. Provide Azure application development and support (App Services, Azure Functions, Web Apps, APIs). 19. Provide storage services management (Blob, File, Queue, Table Storage). 20. Work with Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD automation and release management. 21. Independently manage code changes and promote them through all environments. 22. Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements. 23. Develop and maintain technical documentation (architecture, design specs, data dictionaries, user guides) 24. Analyze the existing functionality and find ways to make it better and more efficiently. 25. Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements. 26. Work with Florida Shorebird Database staff to test the application and confirm it meets the requirements. 27. Updates on status of development. 28. Produce accounting of hours worked by tasks. 29. Follow FWC IT processes and coordinate with other FWC IT staff to ensure compliance with FWC standards. 30. Collaborate with Shorebird Program staff, GIS personnel, database admins, technical teams, as needed, to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, demonstrate functionality, conduct user acceptance testing, and incorporate feedback. 31. Complies with and enforces all agency policies, procedures, and security policies. 32. " 5+ years' experience with SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and views Mapping Experience " Experience developing GIS-enabled web applications using Esri ArcGIS technologies and mapping services.
