Application Security Engineer

Pay Rate: $50 - $55/hr

Job Description:

• Experienced Application Security Engineer with 5+ years of expertise in Application Security, DevSecOps, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, and Secure SDLC.
• Skilled in conducting SAST, DAST, SCA, code reviews, penetration testing, API security assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability validation.
• Hands-on experience with Checkmarx, Veracode, SonarQube, Burp Suite, Snyk, Black Duck, and JFrog Xray, integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines across AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and IaC environments.
• Strong background in secure design reviews, remediation management, security automation, cloud security, risk-based vulnerability prioritization, and stakeholder collaboration within regulated enterprise environments.
