Application Security Engineer

 IDR is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join one of our top clients in Georgia. This role focuses on securing applications across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services through DevSecOps, security tools, and penetration testing.

Position Overview for the Application Security Engineer:

• Build and implement the organization’s application security / DevSecOps program
• Integrate application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows
• Manage penetration testing and vulnerability testing processes
• Implement and manage static and dynamic code analysis
• Manage the full application security lifecycle from testing through remediation
• Partner with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilities
• Train developers and establish secure coding/application security practices across the organization

Requirements for the Application Security Engineer:

• 7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related role
• Strong secure coding and code review experience with .NET and Salesforce/Apex
• Hands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including security configuration and access controls
• CI/CD security experience integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps workflows
• Hands-on experience with application security testing tools and methodologies, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security

• Must be located in theEastern or Central Time Zone
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
• C2C arrangements and third-party vendor submissions will not be considered
