Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Android developer with a strong background in Kotlin and mobile application automation. This role involves participating in the full app life-cycle, from development to release, and collaborating with product teams to innovate and improve our applications continuously.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 5 years of experience on Android Platforms - Development using Kotlin and/or Java.
• Development experience in Core Java.
• Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium, extensive knowledge of XCode.
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, Swift UI. Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket.
• Hands-on experience in agentic coding using AI tools like Github Copilot or Claude code.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with continuous integration & Unit tests.
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera APIs, etc.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Prior work experience in the client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Designing and building native mobile applications on the Android platform.
• Collaborating with the design team to define app features.
• Ensuring quality and performance of the application to specifications.
• Identifying potential problems and resolving application bottlenecks.
• Fixing application bugs before the final release.
• Publishing applications on the App Store.
• Maintaining the code and automation of the application.
