Job Description
We are seeking a Senior PL/SQL Application Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Oracle PL/SQL, Actimize AIS, and large-scale data processing and a proven ability to deliver robust trade surveillance solutions that improve alert quality, coverage, and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers for trade data processing.
- Build scalable data pipelines to support Trade Surveillance use cases, including market abuse detection and alert generation.
- Develop and optimize high-volume batch processing jobs and complex SQL for extraction, reconciliation, and reporting.
- Collaborate with compliance and surveillance teams to translate scenarios into technical solutions and support case management data structures.
- Ensure data lineage, traceability, and auditability across trade data flows and controls.
- Perform query tuning, indexing, and execution plan optimization for large datasets.

- Reverse-engineer Actimize AIS logic and implement equivalent solutions in PL/SQL.
- Deliver regulator-ready solutions with measurable improvements in alert quality, coverage, and control effectiveness.
Current Projects:
- Enterprise trade surveillance and compliance applications within Enterprise Risk & Finance Technology.
- Regulatory-driven initiatives on Oracle DB and CSDR platform.
- Surveillance and monitoring solutions for Front Office and Global Markets activity.

- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD, and version control.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of Python or Shell scripting for automation.
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle concepts, including orders and executions.
- Exposure to Trade Surveillance, Market Misconduct, and Global Markets Compliance.
- Experience with the Actimize AIS platform.
