Introduction
This role involves working as a Pega Senior Developer as part of a Scrum team to assist in building major functions in Debit Claims. The position demands deep technical expertise in solution design and application development for specific business environments. The focus is on setting the technical direction of applications and ensuring technically robust solutions that meet business, architecture, and technology constraints.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in building and implementing model-driven, enterprise-level business solutions using PegaSystems PRPC tool.
- Pega CSSA certified.
- 1 year of experience in Agile Scrum methodology.
- BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented techniques and principles.
- Exposure to a variety of technologies including J2EE (JSP, Servlets, EJB, XML, Java), Oracle.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.
- Ability to manage code migration from development through to production.
- Experience managing moderately complex projects and directing activities of a team related to special initiatives or operations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Work as part of a development team, engaging in problem-solving and demonstrating technical intrigue.
- Work under minimal supervision, with general guidance from more seasoned consultants or managers.
- Analyze complex problems where evaluation of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies to select methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
