Introduction
We are seeking an experienced mobile Automation Engineer with strong leadership skills, insights on Mobile Architecture, and software development expertise. The ideal candidate will have a background in developing and enhancing mobile test automation frameworks and will work closely with Product and Engineering teams to ensure high-quality software across a range of mobile devices and tablets.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in developing and documenting test UI automation and application framework enhancements in Java Appium
- Proficiency in Java and Shell Scripting
- Experience with Mobile Test Automation using Appium
- 5 years of experience as a Software Development Engineer in Testing Manual QA
- Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools and frameworks such as Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with continuous integration unit tests
- Knowledge of Selenium Test NG
- Experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch or using open-source tools
- Experience with source code and CI/CD management tools like Jenkins, Perforce, Git, or Bitbucket
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a similar technical field
- Prior work experience at client or in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Innovative approach to uncover issues during the development phase
- Implement new testing frameworks for future products and features
- Participate in code review of standards, procedures, tools, and quality improvement processes
- Maintain automated regression suites/packages to be compliant with changing requirements and features
