Application Programmer

Introduction

We are seeking a mid-level to senior software developer to design, develop, maintain, and test software for our team. The role involves collaborating with the development team and business partners to ensure successful delivery and implementation of application solutions in a dynamic Agile environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Hadoop and Big Data technologies.
• Experience with PL/SQL and Oracle/SQL Server/Exadata.
• Proficiency in Playwright for test automation.
• Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
• 5 years of Java application programming experience.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in multiple database platforms: SQL Server, Oracle, Exadata, Big Data.
• Performance tuning and database refactoring strategies.
• Experience with ETL processes and Windows/Linux environments.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Develop and support the Enterprise Credit Risk ETL platform.
• Develop unit, integration, regression, and performance test scripts/suites for the framework.
• Follow Agile development processes, including work refinement, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Interface with users and team members to understand requirements and engineer solution options.
• Communicate solutions effectively to teams and mentor junior resources.
• Engage with the Architecture team as needed during development and support.
• Participate in POCs and evaluate tools and technologies as needed.
