Application Engineer

This role serves as a key link between engineering, sales, and customers, providing technical expertise throughout the quotation and pre-sales process. Experience with heat transfer equipment, air-cooled heat exchangers, boilers, coolers, combustion systems, or related thermal process equipment.

We are working with local clients looking for Application Engineers.

Position Summary

We are seeking a driven and technically skilled Application Engineer to support customers through equipment design, application review, estimating, and proposal development. This role serves as a key link between engineering, sales, and customers, providing technical expertise throughout the quotation and pre-sales process. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform application reviews, thermal calculations, and preliminary equipment design based on customer specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, proposals, and technical quotations.
• Support the sales team by providing technical guidance during the customer engagement process.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, consultants, and industry partners.
• Assist with sales strategy, opportunity tracking, and forecasting activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
• Review project specifications, process data, and industry standards to recommend optimal solutions.
• Provide technical presentations and product support to customers and representatives.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, project pipelines, and customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience with heat transfer equipment, air-cooled heat exchangers, boilers, coolers, combustion systems, or related thermal process equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process data.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working directly with customers in a technical sales or applications engineering environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering-related software tools.
