Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer for a fast-growing energy equipment manufacturer which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in applications engineering and technical sales of custom gas systems looking to further their career in energy infrastructure.
Serve as the technical point of contact for distributors, reps, and end users; respond to inquiries and consult on application requirements
Perform equipment sizing and fluid flow/thermodynamic calculations and recommend configurations for custom-engineered systems
Read P&IDs and datasheets; prepare accurate technical proposals, quotes, and costing sheets
Manage order entry, change orders, and CRM records; coordinate with engineering and production on ship dates
Essential Qualifications
Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical preferred; Chemical, Electrical, or Aeronautical considered)
3-4+ years (ideally 5-8) in technical engineering sales or applications engineering with equipment sizing experience
Background with gas, boiler/HVAC, heat exchanger, or process equipment; strong customer-facing skills and comfort in a fast-paced growth environment
Bonus Qualifications
Natural gas, propane, or oil industry experience
Experience with ERP or quoting systems; AI tool proficiency
