Job Title: Application Engineer (AI)
Location: San Jose, CA (3 days)
Location Requirement: San Jose (Bay Area)
Role will be working onsite Tuesday Thursday at EY San Jose
Contractor will be onsite the first full week
Duration: 4 Months + Extension up to 3 Years
Emphasis on:
1. Python with Angular.
2. FastAPI
3. Azure deployments
4. Knowledge of Kubernetes will be added advantage, but not required.
Contract description
We have a contract opportunity for a Application Engineer (AI)
1. Minimum of 5 years in relevant roles, with flexibility for strong candidates with less experience.
2. Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment.
3. Proficiency in enterprise integration design patterns, microservices design, and middleware platforms, including API development.
4. At least 3 years of software development experience in Python, preferably with Angular or React.
5. Experience integrating AI/ML features into production applications is a plus.
6. Willing to go into the EY's San Jose, CA offices on Tues-Thurs. Qualifications
1. UI Development with Flask, Django, FastAPI and experience developing Agentic Applications
2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python for data processing and application logic.
3. Develop and maintain the frontend of web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
4. Proficiency in various programming languages, including PowerShell, Python, C++, C#, Java, TypeScript, Hive, R, or NoSQL.
5. Experience with ML, deep learning, TensorFlow, Python, NLP
