Job Description:

The client is seeking an experienced Application Development Analyst to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications supporting critical business operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong full-stack development expertise utilizing Microsoft technologies, React.js, SQL Server, and cloud-based environments.

The selected consultant will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, supporting database development activities, participating in application modernization efforts, and collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires expertise across front-end, back-end, database, and cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications.

• Develop solutions using:

  • VB.NET Web Forms

  • ASP.NET Core

  • C#

  • React.js

• Support new development and enhancement projects.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.

• Participate in application modernization initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with development standards and best practices.

Full Stack Development

• Develop front-end user interfaces using React.js.

• Design and implement backend services and APIs.

• Build scalable and maintainable web applications.

• Support integration between front-end and backend systems.

• Optimize application performance and user experience.

Database Development

• Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases.

• Create and optimize:

  • Stored Procedures

  • Functions

  • Views

  • Triggers

  • Complex Queries

• Perform SQL tuning and performance optimization.

• Develop DDL and DML database objects.

• Support database security and access controls.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports.

• Support reporting and data extraction requirements.

• Build complex reporting solutions using SQL Server technologies.

• Ensure reporting accuracy and performance.

Cloud & DevOps

• Support applications hosted in cloud environments.

• Work with Microsoft Azure services and infrastructure.

• Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment activities.

• Support automated build and release processes.

• Contribute to DevOps and continuous improvement initiatives.

Architecture & Design

• Apply architectural design patterns including MVC.

• Support object-oriented and relational database design principles.

• Participate in technical design reviews.

• Contribute to solution architecture discussions.

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and security of solutions.

Collaboration & SDLC

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders.

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Support Agile and traditional project methodologies.

• Document technical solutions and system changes.

• Meet project deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Required Skills:

• 10%2B years of experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.

• 10%2B years of experience with:

  • VB.NET Web Forms

  • ASP.NET Core

• 4%2B years of experience with MS SQL Server.

• Strong experience with:

  • T-SQL

  • SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)

  • Database IDE Tools

  • SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

• 4%2B years of experience with React.js.

• 4%2B years of Full Stack Development experience.

• Experience working in Azure cloud environments.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of MVC and software architecture patterns.

• Knowledge of relational and object-oriented database design.

• Knowledge of database security and role-based security models.

• Knowledge of Information Systems Development Methodology (ISDM).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.

Education:

• MCSD (Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer) Preferred.

• MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist) Preferred.

• Azure Certifications Preferred.

• React Development Certifications Preferred.
