Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Consultant for a contract role in the Hartford, CT area. This position involves working onsite and requires hands-on experience in configuring and customizing applications using a general-purpose programming language. The role includes implementing business requirements, supporting integrations, and ensuring high-quality delivery. The consultant will collaborate with various teams to understand and implement requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and customize applications using a general-purpose programming language.
- Implement policy lifecycle components including submission, issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
- Develop and enhance UI screens, validation rules, and workflows.
- Support integrations with upstream and downstream systems using web services.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to understand and implement requirements.
Qualifications
- 5-9 years of experience in application configuration and customization.
- Experience with product model configuration.
- Proficiency in XML web services, SOAP, and REST.
- Experience with SQL basics.
- Understanding of policy administration processes.
