Position: Application (.NET/Microservices) Architecture 

Location: Baltimore, MD  

Type: Contract  (Short Term)

Description    

The selected individual will have the right technical and architectural experience to drive design and implementation of a Micro services platform. Implementation and Development experience in Integration technologies and architectures (for e.g., Service Orchestration, Service Choreography, Event Driven Architecture, Messaging middle ware, etc. This role is responsible for guiding the design, user interface, and technology integration of projects and interfacing with client technology and management teams. Will also bring their expertise to research and inform on enterprise-wide trends.  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Demonstrate expert level proficiency in multiple Java based platforms and Package implementations.  

• Serve as a technical adviser and problem solver to clients and partners to assist them in optimizing their use of the Micro services product suite to define, build and deploy online commerce and self-service applications.

• Translate the client s business requirements into systems design.  

• Ability to evaluate application deployment and performance as needed • Actively work with the account team to establish strategy for the account.  

Job Requirements: 

• 5+ plus years overall experience in professional software engineering architecture.
• 7+ years of software architecture/development experience required. 
• Experience with Azure required. 
• Architectural experience with Distributed architecture practices, dependency injection, etc. 
• Experience with C# .NET & .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, JavaScript (Bootstrap, jQuery), Entity Framework, RESTful services, SQL Server, etc. 
• Working knowledge of service orchestration and messaging technologies. Ability to apply the long-term (big picture) perspective to tactical situations. Ability to evaluate information quickly, identify key issues and formulate conclusions based on sound, practical judgment, experience, and common sense. 4-6 years of deep experience in API strategy formulation and alignment with business and product needs. Familiarity with API management gateways in both public and private cloud infrastructure.
