Technical Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in IT, with at least 3–5 years functioning as an application or Enterprise Architect.
- Mapping & Discovery Tools: Proven experience utilizing automated discovery and dependency mapping tools (e.g., ServiceNow Service Mapping, Device42, Dynatrace, AWS Application Discovery Service, or similar).
- Infrastructure Familiarity: Strong understanding of server environments (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware), cloud infrastructure (AWS or Azure), and database systems.
- Integration Knowledge: Deep understanding of APIs, middleware, and enterprise service buses (ESB) used to connect disparate business applications.
- Should be able to run meetings/conversation with peers
- Architectural diagrams from server to Applications using popular architectural standards
Communication & Leadership Requirements
- Elite Communication Skills: Ability to articulate ideas, present architectural roadmaps, and influence decisions across all organizational levels (from engineers to C-suite executives).
- Facilitation: Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional workshops, discovery sessions, and alignment meetings.
- Problem-Solving & Agility: Strong consultative mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, resolve technical conflicts, and drive consensus.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are a strong plus.
