Application Administrator I

Coordinate with technical support, server administrators, network administrators, and others as necessary to resolve issues. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide second-level support for application-related issues, including troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of incidents.

Job Summary

The Application Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and stability of specific COTS ("Commercial-Off-The-Shelf") applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide second-level support for application-related issues, including troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of incidents.
• Monitor application performance and respond to alerts or notifications.
• Coordinate with technical support, server administrators, network administrators, and others as necessary to resolve issues.
• Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct technician training sessions for applications, new features, or updates.
• Investigate and diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application processes, procedures, and performance.
• Implement automation and scripting for routine tasks to improve efficiency.
• Perform routine updates and patches under supervision.
• Document processes and procedures related to application management.
• Assist in testing and deploying new applications or upgrades.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT related field or relevant work experience (Preferred).
• Two (2) years of relevant experience (Preferred). An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
• Basic certifications (Preferred) - A+.
• Experience with RingCentral a plus.

Preferred location El Paso TX or Las Cruces NM, Remote considered as well.
