Introduction

Join our team as an Appian Architect, where you will lead the design and architecture of Appian BPM solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Appian BPM architecture and low-code scalability, as well as the ability to mentor global teams and drive code quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Appian BPM experience.
  • Good knowledge of the product including BPM Fundamentals, Architecture Components, and Technical Features such as Designer Features and Configurations in Appian.
  • Hands-on experience in design and development in Appian BPM including components such as Tempo, Mobility Features, Forums, Discussions, Pages, Smart Services, Reports, Deployment, etc.
  • Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, Ajax, JavaScript, JS, XML, XSLT, etc.
  • Design/architecture experience building business workflow automation and business rules execution (a.k.a Rules Engine).
  • Prior work experience at the client or in the client's Industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Appian Certifications, if any.
  • Experience handling teams of size 6-8 and the ability to mentor the team.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Appian Administration and servers such as JBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic, etc.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead high-level and low-level designs (HLDs/LLDs) for Appian process models, records, interfaces, and business rules.
  • Oversee integrations with microservices, external databases, and REST/SOAP APIs using secure cloud/AWS architectures.
  • Mentor global engineering teams, drive code quality and governance, and champion CI/CD deployment pipelines.
