Description

Work Details:
  • On-site role with standard working hours; remote work available on Fridays.
  • Occasional evening calls may be needed based on project deadlines.
  • Travel may be required depending on project needs.
  • Bachelor's degree inEngineering, Quality Management, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • PMP, CSEP, or Six Sigma certifications are preferred but not mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in apparel quality within the apparel industry.
  • Background in apparel production, product development, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong knowledge of apparel construction and garment manufacturing processes.
  • Experience managing apparel quality in retail or manufacturing environments.
  • Proven success working with international and domestic manufacturing partners.
  • Demonstrated leadership managing cross-functional or matrixed teams.
Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency with project management systems such as Trellis, Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana, or similar.
  • Expertise with data and quality reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, Excel, or Smartsheet.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience with non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
  • Familiarity with apparel product integrity procedures and tools.
Project Responsibilities:
  • Support major product launches and ensure factory accountability for quality issues.
  • Oversee investigations of apparel non-conformance and drive issue resolution.
  • Provide mentoring and direction to apparel quality engineers.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance standards and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Deliver data-driven insights and reports to leadership through dashboards and analytics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in product design, technical development, risk assessment, manufacturing systems, and marketplace operations.
  • Ensure compliance with product quality standards across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Communicate updates and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead ad hoc quality or process improvement projects as needed.
