Provides service to patients in acute short and long term care settings by assisting physicians assessing patients and treating injuries and ailments. Obtains a thorough medical history from patient and dependent on patient population and setting will perform an examination andor assessment to determine patients needs. Department PM&R - Inpatient Rehab Unit Schedule Monday-Friday Daytime FTE 0.8 Position Summary The Inpatient Rehab Advanced Practice Provider works alongside a collaborative PM&R team that includes two physiatrists and one additional APP . This role provides daily medical management for patients on our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit supporting rounding assessments care coordination and high-quality rehabilitative care. Call is optional. New graduates with strong interest in PM&R are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Perform daily assessments manage medical needs and document patient progress. Collaborate with physiatrists the other APP and the interdisciplinary rehab team to develop and adjust care plans. Support admissions and discharges including medication reconciliation and patientfamily communication.
