    Opportunity:

    Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Pediatrics, Physician Assistant - Pediatrics


    Job Details:

    • Provide inpatient pediatric surgery coverage with hospital and call responsibilities

    • Shift times are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (on-site) or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (night beeper call, must remain within 10 minutes of hospital)

    • Weekend coverage includes 24-hour beeper call responsibilities

    • Full-time schedule preferred with flexibility for 3-4 days per week arrangements

    • Minimum of 3-4 shifts per week required with 12 guaranteed hours per day

    • See approximately 15-20 patients per shift

    • Treat pediatric patients only, up to 16-17 years of age

    • Must be willing to work nights and weekends

    • Must arrive on-site within 10 minutes when on call shift

    • Board certification required

    • Active license and DEA required

    • Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS

    • Level 1 trauma facility with Level 1 pediatric designation
