    Opportunity:

    Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery


    Job Details:

    • Shifts available in 10-hour (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM) or 12-hour (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) increments

    • Call requirements include 1 weeknight call and one weekend day per call week

    • Typically 1-2 MDs in clinic per day with 1 NP present Monday through Friday

    • Additional APP present 1-2 times per week

    • Patients scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rounds required prior to clinic

    • Support staff includes 6 MDs, 1 RN, and 4 MAs

    • Patient population consists of adults

    • EMR/Documentation system is Epic

    • Procedures include inpatient/acute care, diagnostic/therapeutic taps, surgical care, suturing, EVD placement, lumbar drain, lumbar puncture, ICP monitor placement, and primary surgical care of complex wounds

    • Board Certification in Neurosurgery required

    • Active South Carolina license required

    • Clean background required
