Nurse Practitioner - Neurosurgery

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient neurosurgery coverage during nights and weekends
• 
  
• Work 12-hour shifts either AM (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM) or PM (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• 
  
• Hospital inpatient coverage only with varying patient volumes
• 
  
• Treat 90% adult patients and 10% pediatric patients
• 
  
• Use Epic EMR/documentation system
• 
  
• Must be board certified in Neurosurgery with active SC license
• 
  
• Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year experience required with clean background check
• 
  
• Must be out of training and practicing medicine for at least 2 years
• 
  
• Experience required in inpatient/acute care, emergency medicine, mental health/psychiatry, and surgical care
• 
  
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• 
  
• DEA license required
