Opportunity:

Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology

Job Details:

• Provide coverage in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III) in an inpatient setting
• 
  
• Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 
  
• Manage an average of 10-12 neonatal patients per day
• 
  
• Utilize Epic electronic medical record system for documentation
• 
  
• Work under physician supervision with supervising physician present during assignment
• 
  
• Attend deliveries and perform neonatal resuscitation procedures
• 
  
• Perform PICC line placement, umbilical line placement, needle aspiration, and chest tube placement
• 
  
• Must have neonatal experience (new graduates not accepted)
• 
  
• Must be board certified through ANCC, AANP, NCCPA, or equivalent
• 
  
• Must hold active Michigan state license
• 
  
• Must maintain current NRP advanced provider or instructor status
• 
  
• Weekend coverage required
• 
  
• Credentialing process takes approximately 120+ days
