Opportunity:
Physician - Hematology Oncology
Job Details:
- Seeking 1 experienced Hematology/Oncology Board Certified Physician for 3 days per week coverage for 9-12 months
- Schedule: Monday through Thursday (3 days per week will be considered), 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Coverage pattern: 1 week per month to fill the 4th week of a rotating schedule
- Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital outpatient only - no inpatient admissions
- Provide direct hospital-based outpatient care and serve as chemotherapy program director/provider
- See approximately 15-18 patients per day with 1-3 consults per week
- Required procedures include bone marrow biopsies - must be able to perform independently
- EMR systems used: EClinicalWorks (ECW) and Meditech
- Support staff includes a HemOc trained ARNP and nurses
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency completion) required
- Board Certified in Hematology highly preferred
- Active Oregon license highly preferred; IMLC and non-licensed candidates accepted but must obtain OR license during credentialing
- Residency/Fellowship completion required
- BLS and DEA certifications required
- Clean background and malpractice history highly preferred
