    Opportunity:

    Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology


    Job Details:

    • Part-time position covering 2-3 shifts per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

    • Open to Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)

    • Outpatient-focused hematology/oncology practice with inpatient collaboration as needed

    • Manage patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies across all age groups

    • See approximately 11-16 patients per day

    • Work closely with hematologist/oncologists, infusion teams, nurse navigators, and support services

    • Access to comprehensive multidisciplinary care team including oncology nurse navigators, clinic RNs, LPNs, infusion nursing team, oncology social worker, dietitian, mental health support, and financial navigator

    • Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and oncology supportive therapies

    • Outpatient clinic features 5 dedicated exam rooms attached to infusion department

    • Infusion center includes 9 open chairs, 2 private treatment rooms, and 2 fast track triage rooms

    • Access to on-site radiology including PET (including PSMA PETs), MRI, and CT imaging, as well as on-site laboratory services

    • Access to clinical trials through MMCORC and NCI-supported research programs with a dedicated research nurse on-site

    • Palliative care and genetic counseling available via telehealth

    • Epic EMR used for coordinated, connected care

    • Minnesota (MN) state license required; board certification as PA or APP required
