Physician Assistant (PA) - Surgery - General
Job Details:
- Hospital-based general surgery position with inpatient trauma call coverage
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM onsite
- Coverage period from June 30, 2026 through December 31, 2026
- See approximately 15-20 patients per day
- Handle general surgical cases for adult and trauma patients
- Perform procedures including central line insertion, chest tube insertion, and vascular access devices
- Work alongside trauma surgeons who are available on call from home
- Utilize Cerner electronic health record system
- Weekend coverage required
- Must be certified as a Physician Assistant
- Active Michigan license required
- ACLS and ATLS certifications required
- DEA registration required
- Local candidates preferred
