Job Details:

• Provide urgent care services as a sole provider treating both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up)
• 
  
• Handle high patient volume with up to 60 patients per day (average of 45 patients per shift)
• 
  
• Perform urgent care procedures including laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other minor procedures
• 
  
• Utilize Epic EMR system for all patient visits
• 
  
• Must have active NC license and active NC DEA
• 
  
• Board certification required (BC/NCCPA/NP Boards); BLS certification required
• 
  
• Must demonstrate proficiency or willingness to train on Epic EMR system
• 
  
• Supervising physician provided off-site for locum APPs
• 
  
• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills for one-on-one interactions with support staff and patients
• 
  
• Minimum 12 months of experience required; new graduates will not be considered
• 
  
• Must be local and reside in the immediate area; limited mileage reimbursement only (60 miles total/roundtrip)
• 
  
• EMR training and onboarding required prior to first solo shift; training occurs on set Wednesdays and participation is mandatory
