Opportunity:

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care

Job Details:

• Provide inpatient acute care coverage with 12-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM or 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 
  
• Handle 14-16 patient encounters per shift in high-acuity ICU setting
• 
  
• Perform daily responsibilities including admissions, discharges, and running codes
• 
  
• Execute procedures such as intubation, central line placement, dialysis line insertion, and arterial lines
• 
  
• Maintain communication with internal floors and coordinate patient transfers
• 
  
• Work with physician support available during day shifts and by phone during night shifts
• 
  
• Must be an acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP) due to ICU acuity requirements
• 
  
• Potential placement on Neurology ICU for neurology/neurosurgery patients
• 
  
• Prefer 1-2 years of acute care experience
• 
  
• Active license and DEA required
• 
  
• Board certified or truly board eligible status required
• 
  
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
