Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology, Physician Assistant - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Outpatient clinic coverage required Wednesday through Friday, 3 days per week, 4 weeks per month
• 
  
• Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with lunch incorporated into the shift
• 
  
• Provide on-campus supervision for echo/nuclear exercise stress tests
• 
  
• Oversee in-office cardiac device checks and stress tests performed by cardiac device technician
• 
  
• Sign off on cardiac device checks and interpret EKGs
• 
  
• Outpatient privileges required to see clinic patients and perform/supervise outpatient testing in the clinic and hospital
• 
  
• Admitted privileges are not required for this position
• 
  
• Expected patient encounters per shift: 12
• 
  
• 6-month contract requested with possibility of extension
• 
  
• Board certification required; ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Active license and DEA required
• 
  
• Fellowship required
