Description

Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager will:

Support Project Managers in the planning, execution, and closeout of multiple commercial interior projects.
Track RFIs, submittals, long-lead materials, and project documentation.
Coordinate project startup activities and closeout requirements.
Prepare and distribute meeting minutes and action items.
Monitor project schedules and assist with overall project administration.
Conduct site visits and support field coordination efforts as needed.
Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, architects, and ownership teams.
Assist with procurement and buyout activities.
Utilize Procore, PlanGrid, Bluebeam, Excel, and CMiC to manage project information.
Take ownership of increasing project responsibilities as experience and performance grow.
Support 2-3 projects simultaneously, ranging from approximately 20,000 SF and larger.
Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:

2-4 years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
Experience supporting corporate interior or tenant improvement projects.
Familiarity with project administration functions including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and material tracking.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Experience working in a collaborative office and project-site environment.
Proficiency with construction management technology platforms.
