Position Summary


Our confidential client - a well-established project and construction management firm - is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager.

• Full-time, in-office/on-site role based in San Francisco, CA
• Provides operational and administrative support throughout the project lifecycle
• Contributes to the successful execution of healthcare facility projects
• May take the lead on select smaller-scale assignments

Project Support Responsibilities

• Help organize and track project deliverables and milestones
• Assist with day-to-day coordination of project activities
• Support schedule management and workflow organization
• Help maintain momentum on project progress and deadlines
• Provide general support to the project leadership team

Compliance & Regulatory Coordination

• Review project requirements for adherence to applicable regulations and standards
• Assist with documentation and approval processes
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies including:
• OSHPD
• CDPH

Communication & Collaboration

• Collect and organize stakeholder and user input during planning phases
• Serve as a liaison between consultants, clients, and internal teams
• Help communicate information necessary for project planning and decision-making
• Coordinate the exchange of project-related materials and updates

Additional Duties

• Support the advancement and development of project initiatives
• Assist in maintaining project organization and compliance standards
• Contribute to efficient project delivery and team coordination

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management), or equivalent related experience
• 2–4 years of experience in construction or real estate
• Familiarity with construction workflows, project delivery, and industry standards
• Experience overseeing small to mid-sized projects through completion
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and deadline management abilities
• Effective communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Proficient with project management platforms and software tools
• Self-motivated team player with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with healthcare construction projects and OSHPD/HCAI requirements
• Knowledge of pre-construction planning, building systems, contract administration, and project delivery methods
• Strong client relationship management and team collaboration skills
• Professional certifications such as CMAA, PMI, or LEED preferred
