Apartment Maintenance Technician
At Berger Communities, our Maintenance Technicians are an important part of the resident experience. We’re looking for people who want more than just another maintenance job and are interested in joining a team where they can continue developing their skills and building their career.
We have multiple opportunities available throughout the State College area at South Gate Apartments, Vairo Village Apartments, and Toftrees Apartments.
Pay & Benefits
- $21–$23/hour, paid biweekly, plus:
- $1,000 Sign on bonus!

Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday.
What You’ll Do
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly. That means:
- Complete apartment maintenance requests and repairs
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues
- Prepare apartments for new residents
- Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community
- Assist with general property upkeep
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed
- Provide friendly, professional service to our residents
