    Maintenance Technician (Entry-Level) — CLK Multifamily Management

    Job Type: Full-Time. Some weekends may be necessary based on business needs. On-call rotation.

    What You'll Do

    • Respond to resident service requests promptly and professionally
    • Perform general repairs and upkeep: carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, doors, cabinets, windows
    • Handle basic plumbing (faucets, toilets, drains) and basic electrical (outlets, switches, light fixtures)
    • Replace light bulbs, filters, and other routine wear items
    • Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready: cleaning, painting, minor repairs)
    • Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities (trash/debris pickup, pressure-washing, painting curbs/signage)
    • Assist certified technicians with HVAC, gas, and pool-related tasks
    • Attend monthly safety meetings
    • Track completed work in maintenance logs

    What You Bring

    • No certifications required — we'll help you get there
    • Comfortable using basic hand and power tools
    • Willingness to learn and take direction
    • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
    • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly (with team assistance for heavier items)
    • A team-player attitude and strong problem-solving skills
    • Comfortable using a tablet or smartphone for work orders and maintenance logs
    • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
