BG Staffing is actively seeking a Certified Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Indianapolis, IN 46227. We are looking for a skilled, dependable professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering quality maintenance service to residents and property management teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance technician with strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience in apartment maintenance. Candidates with HVAC and plumbing experience are highly preferred.

Position Details

• Position: Certified Maintenance Technician
• Location: Indianapolis, IN 46227
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities

As a Certified Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the overall condition and functionality of the apartment community. Daily duties include:

• Responding to and completing resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Diagnosing and repairing maintenance issues throughout the property
• Performing preventive maintenance on community equipment and systems
• Troubleshooting and repairing HVAC systems
• Completing plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and water lines
• Handling basic electrical, carpentry, drywall, painting, and appliance repairs
• Ensuring vacant units are maintained and ready for occupancy
• Following all safety standards and company policies
• Providing exceptional customer service to residents and onsite staff

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance Technician experience within apartment communities or similar properties
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing repairs
• Experience managing and completing maintenance work orders efficiently
• Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Basic knowledge of electrical, appliance, carpentry, and general repair work
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented work ethic
