BG Staffing is currently seeking a skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team supporting multifamily communities in the Columbus, OH 43213 area. If you have experience in apartment maintenance, take pride in quality work, and enjoy a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Position Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43213
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 hours per week (schedule may vary based on community needs)
• Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Complete unit turns and prepare vacant apartments for new residents
• Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections
• Ensure grounds and common areas remain safe and well-maintained
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and property staff

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull maintenance equipment and materials as needed
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
