What Youll Do As a Maintenance Technician, youll help keep our community running smoothly by delivering exceptional service and quality workmanship. Responsibilities include: Complete resident service requests promptly and professionally Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems (based on experience and certification level) Prepare apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready work Repair plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance issues Conduct routine inspections of buildings, grounds, and amenities Maintain accurate work orders using smartphones, tablets, and mobile maintenance applications Keep the maintenance shop clean, organized, and properly stocked Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs Work closely with the property management team to deliver an outstanding resident experience
What Were Looking For Preferred Qualifications EPA HVAC Certification (Universal Certification is a plus, but not required) Experience diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems 2+ years of apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications to manage work orders, inspections, and daily maintenance tasks
Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 pounds Ability to climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to participate in an on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
