    Maintenance Technician II

    Location: Reserve at Hillcrest Apartments - Spartanburg, SC

    SummaryThe Maintenance Technician II supports the Community Manager and Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the physical assets of the community. Responsibilities include general repairs, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance, and assisting with renovation projects. This role may lead to promotion to Maintenance Supervisor. Must be flexible to work weekends, on-call, and some holidays.

    Key Responsibilities

    Qualifications

    Minimum 3 years of general maintenance or 2+ years in multifamily housing Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and pools EPA Certification required (Type II or Universal) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for service calls Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

    Preferred

    High school diploma or equivalent; trade school or certifications a plus CAMT certification or similar Certified Pool Operator (CPO) preferred Experience in painting and general carpentry

    Skills & Abilities

    Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Comfortable using tools and equipment such as gauges, meters, power tools, and appliances Professionalism and teamwork are essential

    Physical Requirements

    Lift and carry up to 50+ lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors Ability to safely use tools, equipment, and PPE
