    About the Role -

    Encore Multi Family (EMF) is seeking an experienced Apartment Asset Manager to oversee the financial performance, operations, and strategic positioning of a multifamily portfolio. Based in Phoenix, AZ, this role partners with property management teams, executive leadership, investors, and lenders to maximize asset performance and value.

    Key Responsibilities -

    • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditure plans.
    • Analyze monthly financial statements, NOI, and key performance indicators; identify opportunities to improve revenue and control expenses.
    • Prepare financial and performance reports and present monthly variances to the EEI Board.
    • Partner with property management teams to ensure operational and financial goals are achieved.
    • Oversee leasing performance, pricing strategy, renovations, capital projects, and property condition.
    • Conduct quarterly property site visits and provide increased oversight for underperforming assets.
    • Develop and execute business plans aligned with ownership objectives, including value-add, refinancing, and disposition strategies.
    • Conduct market and competitive analysis to guide rental, renovation, and asset positioning decisions.
    • Oversee vendor contracts, staffing plans, third-party management relationships, and major operating expenditures.
    • Support investor and lender reporting, loan compliance, refinancing, and capital markets activities.
    • Monitor legal, insurance, fair housing, safety, and other regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Provide guidance and performance feedback to property-level teams and management partners.
    • Maintain accurate portfolio dashboards and reporting systems to track performance.

    Qualifications - 

    • 5+ years of experience in multifamily asset management, property operations, real estate investment, or a related field.
    • Strong understanding of multifamily financials, budgeting, forecasting, and NOI analysis.
    • Experience with capital projects, renovations, property management, and market analysis.
    • Strong analytical, financial, communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, investors, lenders, and property management teams.
    • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
    • Ability to travel regularly to properties (8) within the portfolio.
