About the Role

As an AP Vendor Master Data Clerk at Zekelman Industries, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate, compliant vendor data and supporting Accounts Payable operations. This is a 6-month temporary, fully onsite position that is perfect for someone who is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with financial data, documentation, and multiple priorities.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, onsite
Position Type: 6-month temporary assignment

Pay: $25.00/hour

What You’ll Do

• Creates and maintains vendor master records across Pipe & Tube systems, ensuring vendor information remains accurate, complete, and consistent.
• Processes vendor additions, updates, and changes while following company policies, approval processes, and internal controls.
• Maintains audit-ready vendor documentation by ensuring required records are properly approved, retained, and organized.
• Reviews and maintains vendor data across systems, including payment terms and payment methods, and identifies inactive vendors for blocking or deletion after two years of inactivity.
• Supports Accounts Payable and regulatory reporting activities, including annual 1099 and 1042 reporting, AP coverage during peak periods and vacations, and backup administration for Concur and Bank of America.
• Assists with special projects and additional accounting-related responsibilities as business needs arise.
  

Who You Are

• Experience in Accounts Payable, vendor master data management, accounting, or a related area preferred.
• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel, the primary systems used in this role.
• Knowledge of internal controls, documentation standards, and audit requirements.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
