Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join a well-established food manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional who enjoys a hands-on role, values accuracy, and thrives in a collaborative team environment. The position is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume accounts payable transactions and voucher invoices.
  • 
    
  • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documentation.
  • 
    
  • Review supporting documentation and proof of receipts to ensure proper approval and compliance.
  • 
    
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor payment issues.
  • 
    
  • Assist with check processing and payment distribution.
  • 
    
  • Maintain accurate AP records and ensure data integrity within the ERP system.
  • 
    
  • Work closely with accounting and operations teams to verify inventory, purchasing, and receiving information.
  • 
    
  • Support quality control procedures related to vendor invoicing and payment processing.
  • 
    
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
• 
  
• Prior experience within a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
• 
  
• Food manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
• 
  
• Experience working with ERP systems; SAP Business One experience is highly preferred.
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• 
  
• Basic to intermediate Excel skills, including data entry, formatting, and spreadsheet maintenance.
• 
  
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• 
  
• Ability to learn established processes and work effectively within an existing team structure.
•
