Accounts Payable Specialist (Temporary)

Location: Pasadena, CA (Hybrid: Onsite Tuesday-Thursday, Remote Monday & Friday)

Pay Rate: $33.00-$38.00 hourly

Job Type: Temporary (Approximately 6 Months)

Schedule: Full-Time

About the Opportunity

LHH is partnering with a respected organization seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume AP team during a period of process improvements and increased workload. This position offers the opportunity to join a collaborative accounting department and contribute immediately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Code invoices to appropriate departments, properties, and cost centers

• Set up and maintain vendor accounts and documentation, including W-9 collection

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries

• Assist with expense report processing and reimbursements

• Collaborate with accounting, operations, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely payments

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

• Support ongoing accounting operations and process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Experience working in a corporate or structured accounting environment

• Proven ability to manage a high-volume invoice workload

• Strong understanding of invoice coding and payment processing

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented approach

• Proficiency with accounting systems and ERP platforms

Pay Details: $33.00 to $38.00 per hour
