Jack Laurie Group is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Corporate Finance team. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented, process-driven accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in getting the details right.

In this role, you will be responsible for processing a high volume of vendor invoices, maintaining accurate AP records, assisting with payment and month-end processes, and working directly with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies.

What You''ll Do
<\/h3>Process and enter high-volume vendor invoices with accurate account and profit center coding
<\/p><\/li>Match invoices with purchase orders, receipts, and appropriate approvals
<\/p><\/li>Verify invoice accuracy and supporting documentation
<\/p><\/li>Electronically file and maintain AP documentation
<\/p><\/li>Assist with weekly vendor payment processing and recurring payments
<\/p><\/li>Support monthly accounts payable close
<\/p><\/li>Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies
<\/p><\/li>Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment issues
<\/p><\/li>Process vendor credits and returns
<\/p><\/li>Review open purchase orders and follow up as needed
<\/p><\/li>Route invoices to the appropriate business unit
<\/p><\/li>Maintain organized and accurate AP records
<\/p><\/li>Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
<\/p><\/li><\/ul>What We''re Looking For
<\/h3>5+ years of Accounts Payable, accounting, or bookkeeping experience
<\/p><\/li>Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
<\/p><\/li>Experience working in an ERP or accounting system
<\/p><\/li>Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy
<\/p><\/li>Strong organizational and time-management skills
<\/p><\/li>Ability to prioritize and manage a fluctuating workload
<\/p><\/li>Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
<\/p><\/li>Professional and personable communication style
<\/p><\/li>Ability to build positive relationships with vendors and internal teams
<\/p><\/li>Comfortable working in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
<\/p><\/li>Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
<\/p><\/li>Ability to work primarily in-office
<\/p><\/li>Bachelor''s degree or accounting certification is a plus, but not required
