ABOUT DISA TECH
DISA Tech, Inc. (DISA Tech) advances mineral processing through its patented high-pressure slurry ablation technology (HPSA). The HPSA platform promotes selective mineral liberation to improve recovery, product quality, and overall processing efficiency across a wide range of critical minerals and materials. By helping recover more value from every ton processed, we support a more efficient and resilient mineral supply chain.
DISA Tech is growing, and we are building out the finance team to support that growth.
THE ROLE
We’re looking for an AP/AR Specialist to run the day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as we scale. You’ll process vendor activity tied to equipment, materials, testing, and contractors, and you’ll handle customer invoicing, payments, and collections. You’ll work closely with the Senior Accountant and Controller and support month-end close. Because our finance processes are still being built out, you’ll also help shape how AP and AR get done here.
Requirements
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Accounts Payable
Process full-cycle accounts payable: invoice intake, coding, approval routing, and payment runs (ACH, wire, check)
Code invoices accurately by project, department, and cost center, including R&D, equipment, testing, and corporate overhead
Set up and maintain vendor records, including W-9 collection, insurance certificates, and banking details, with appropriate controls around changes
Manage company card activity in Ramp: receipt collection, coding, policy follow-up, and reconciliation
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies, duplicate charges, and past-due items
Support 1099 preparation and filing at year end
Accounts Receivable
Prepare and send customer invoices accurately and on time, based on contracts, purchase orders, and project milestones
Record and apply customer payments, and keep customer records current
Monitor AR aging, follow up on past-due balances, and work with project leads to resolve billing questions
Track and invoice intercompany and related-party activity
Close and Process Support
Work with operations and project teams to get approvals and supporting documentation in a timely way
Prepare AP and AR aging reports and support the Senior Accountant with month-end accruals and reconciliations
Help pull documentation for audit requests and internal control reviews
Suggest ways to tighten workflows and make better use of NetSuite and Ramp as volume grows.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
2 to 4 years of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable experience, ideally with exposure to both
Experience with NetSuite is a plus
Experience with Ramp or a similar spend management tool is a plus
Background in mining, mineral processing, energy, manufacturing, or another technical or field-heavy industry is helpful but not required
Comfortable handling high transaction volume with a strong eye for detail
Solid Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, basic reconciliations)
Good communicator who can chase down approvals and past-due payments without creating friction with colleagues, vendors, or customers
Comfortable in a fast-moving company where processes are still being built
Associate’s degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not required
Benefits
Base salary of $60,000 to $70,000 based on location and experience
Up to 10% annual bonus potential
Benefits coverage begins after 30 days of employment
80 hours of PTO per year to start, increasing with tenure, plus 9 paid holidays
Hybrid schedule with limited in-office time
