About the Opportunity
CFS is partnering with a growing company in Pittsburgh to hire an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist. This role will primarily focus on high-volume accounts payable processing, with additional responsibility for supporting accounts receivable functions.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
AP/AR Specialist Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- The AP/AR Specialist will enter, code, and maintain invoices in QuickBooks Online
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
- Manage electronic invoice documentation and maintain accurate AP records
- The AP/AR Specialist will assist with job costing and expense tracking
- The AP/AR Specialist will support accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and payment tracking
Qualifications of the AP/AR Specialist Role
- 3+ years of high-volume accounts payable experience
- Experience managing large transaction volumes in a fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and contribute quickly with minimal training
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
