About the Opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join a collaborative accounting team in Greater Hartford, CT. This position offers the opportunity to support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions within a centralized accounting department and contribute to ongoing process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable invoices, including coding, approval routing, and payment preparation.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and maintain accurate W-9 documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly check runs and assist with daily deposit processing.
- Support accounts receivable activities, including generating customer statements and following up on outstanding balances.
- Provide cross-functional support and coverage for team members as needed to maintain continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of full-cycle accounts payable experience.
- Strong communication, follow-up, and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
Salary: $52,000-58,240
